It's been hit and miss since my daughter started 7th grade (lots of homework) - but I did OK when I did get a chance to swing the coil - and the cooler weather is finally here, making it a lot more pleasant.
I hunted a few local parks that I was able to get to before dark on a couple of evenings and this past Saturday was able to take a road trip to a park that yielded a seated dime and several indians a few weeks ago - got a full 4 hours in there.
Total finds: 30 wheats (1910 the oldest), a '45 Canadian penny, 6 Indians (1874, 2x1890, 1892, 1899 and 1902), an 1865 2 center that needs some help, an 1899 Barber, 2 Mercs ('41 and '45) and a '48 Rosie. Also got a sterling ring and a neat little lead Cracker Jack touring car.
Thanks for looking!
