Cool oil can

Brandy[Ma.]

New member
Got this old oil can at a yard sale last weekend which some one started to clear but gave up on it,As I was cleaning it the maker's name started to show. It's a oil can for filling the oil lamp in a light house. Not sure if I'm going to get it to the light house museum or E. bay it, If the museum is just going to put it in a box in the basement I'll E.bay it and find it a good home. Some light house collectors would fight for this I think. Here's a photo of the old Lamp shop, they have a new lamp shop museum now but the old one still there.Enjoy

Thats the problem with a lot of museums........the stuffy people who run them like to keep neat things in boxes so no one can see them. Sell it on Ebay where a collector can enjoy it.

I looked on E-Bay and only found post cards and a few old paintings and the rest was just junk. This is a piece of light house history and the collectors would love to add this to there collocation.
