Cool bottle

I swung some tired old spots again today and got nothing but a bit of clad. I did notice however that part of a bottle was sticking out of the creek bank. I carefully cleared around it and this old girl fell into my hand. I was really happy that it was completely intact, which is not the case for most oldies. It has air bubble inclusions in the glass and the top was applied separately, meaning that it has a few years on it. There was even part of the old cork still in it. No older coins but the bottle made my day.

Oh, B.T.W. I flicked three brown ticks off today, man those suckers can move fast !

Nice bottle find. Blood suckers are out not good. Watch for lime disease.

Old bottles are cool..ticks are not. Ticks seem to be thicker than usual this year. Aren't harsh winters supposed to thin 'em out??

Nice bottle you dug! You have an interesting growing collection there. I have many times used my detectors to find the dumps under several inches of overgrowth. There are often great finds to be had from those locations.
