Most of you know that using just about any image editing program you can convert your color images to black and white with a simple mode change to grayscale. The problem with grayscale conversion is that is throws out more data than it needs to and the image really does not represent a good black and white. It's ok but I've discovered another method in Photoshop. Here is an image taken with the new D100 Nikon at asa 1600 then converted using the new steps I found in Photoshop. I like this better than a simple grayscale mode change. I've also rotated this image for am artsy phartsy look.
