Conversion to dive with your At Pro

Thanks to BootyHunter and Beau O. who gave me these ideas.

Use the lower shaft of your At Pro and drill two holes in the upper end of that shaft to connect your control box.
Note, one side you drill about 1/4 in holes to fit the control box posts and the other side just big enough for the screws.
Be sure your holes miss the snaps in the upper section of that shaft.(see picture)
Used a T-grip obtained from Blue Heron Tools for the handle. Had to insert a rubber washer into the T-grip handle opening to downsize that opening
to fit the diameter of the lower shaft.

Drilling the holes does not hurt the operation of your shafts in anyway-they still slide into each other and the snaps snap into place where you need them.
In about 5 minutes you can change this back to your original At Pro with no problems. Under water the slight buoyancy of the control box keeps it in
the upright position if you let go of the handle.

Very nice, clean simple and fast! Well done detailed write up and photos..:please:

I guess you tie a rope to it to keep it from floating away. Very cool idea!
