Folks, I appreciate all of your finds, your photos and the time you took to post them. If you folks keep posting photos, questions and suggestions, we can eventually get this forum back up and active again.

My wife (Michelle) viewed the Posted Photos of Finds and has come up with her conclusion to the WINNERS of the contest.

Please do not get upset if you did not win. Michelle does not know the rarity or value of these items, she is not an expert and hardly detects at all. Your item may be worth hundreds of dollars or more and she would possibly not know. Please understand she is just giving an opinion.

Hi all,

I was amazed by the number of great and varied entries,
and more than surprised that a butt ugly meteorite
would even stand a chance against such unusual finds.

Gerry's Mrs. has a very discerning eye for the
unusual, obviously.
