Never before have we had a contest where the prize was so,....WORTHTLESS!
We hunted an Idaho ghost town in an area that produced more gold in 1860's to early 1900, than came out of the Klondike and the California gold rushes combined. While Nancy and I found some good coins and relics, This photo is of what is all over the ground in the site.

We have some square nails that were part of the old town's buildings, a piece of a Chinese bowl that belonged to a immigrant miner, and some of the mineralized quartz that may even contain some of the gold that made this area so prosperous.
Now here is the contest: Guess the name of the town that these finds came from. Simple. You just need a little research on gold mining in Idaho, and a good guess. The winner will receive this wonderful pile of crap, or have it thrown away in their honor, or have it sent to another forum member in their behalf. You might even actually want a little piece of Idaho history for you own crap collection, so have fun. DC
