I will send the winner the 1901 indian head penny I mentioned yesterday. I know it's not much but I hope everyone enjoys it anyway. Post responses under this post so we can see everyones guess and the time it was made. Thanks for playing.

Being a softball umpire, I had the chance to meet here at a celebrity slow pitch game held in Lakeland, Fla. I had the honor of umpiring 2nd base. She is just as beautiful in person as in the photos I'm sure everyone has seen. Do a search of her name on Youtube and watch her strike out one after another pro baseball players that think they could hit her. There are movies of big league catchers that can't catch her fastball! She is a sweet girl and the olympic team will be playing here in Plant City in May so I hope I'll have the chance to meet her again. Congrats Butch !

I mentioned to her that I umpired at a local little league and that their season was about to start. I then asked her if she wouldn't mind signing about 6 softballs so that the Girls softball league could use them as fund raisers and raffle items to benefit their organizations. She said that she would be honored to and I sat there and had a little conversation with her for about 15 minutes before game time. She was a class act all the way. The girls softball league raffled off each ball and I think they made over 100.00 per ball. They were thrilled that I thought of them and I came away looking like a hero as well.
