I gut the idea from this picture Tony dragged out This is simple. Just guess the date on this coin I'm holding in this infamous , short shorts photo from 1983.....
Just put a date in the subject line so I don't have to dig, & Please only I guess per person.....
If I have to delete multiple guesses again you will be
If 2 people get the date or there's some kinda tie, then I'll ask what kinda coin it is or something to break it......
Good luck, & I'll let it go till mid-next week sometime when I'll post the coin for all to see the date then.....

Big Red, you are 1 lucky guy! How many hats do you have already? It's an 1855 Seated quarter (that's in the safe & I'm on my way out so I'll post it later). Was that a lucky guess or did you pull out the W&E story?? Hint: there was a picture of the coin in that story......
Anyhow Red, if you already got 2 hats, would you like a mug or a t-shirt? Or would you like me to mail a hat to your pal Bugar?....(as he was Sooooo close).

Bill I will be honest with you I have that issue.....However The article doesnt Say for sure what year the coin you are holding...I know it mention you finding the 1855 seated liberty quarter that was perfect.....did you get the coin with the the sears detector?....Then the article goes on later and mentions you getting your first fisher......which is in the case thats over your shoulder in the picture.I will say the 3 coins that are in a separate picture was a 1835 half dime and a 1855 liberty quarter and a 1798 large cent.....Just going by the size of each coin the quarter was the logical choice to match the coin you was holding. Now I had made up my mind that if i was lucky enought to win i was going to request a hat.....And on my next hunt with Bugar i was going to give him the hat. Since i have one and another went to my Dad....and i think Bugar should get this one. So get his address and send him the hat and put a note in there for me .....To my Buddy Bugar From your Pal Big Red
