How long will it take me to Master the E-Trac- I've now have about 80 hours and found my 1st Silver Dime about 10 days ago.
How about, guess the number of pull tabs in a bowl?
Who can tell the best story about hunting with their e-trac?
Best advertising slogan, or jingle for the RNB battery?
If you do the "most finds," of any given type, it relies to heavily on the honor system... May, or may not work.

I would think some kind of jingle....like already said..........to many guess this and guess that........it would be cool....just to check back everyday to read read everybody's Jingle
................this is a Super Idea!!!!...................I bet there would be all kinds of saying everybody comes up with!....................I myself...I can't wait to see ,what everbody comes up with..........................................You know we are all just big kids with toys on here(I am one of the biggest)............but that is what makes life fun!!!

I like this idea. A twist on this, and a way to show the RNB advantage:
1. Use 2 brand new e-trac batteries (1-Stock, and 1- RNB)
2. Charge them both for the same amount of time, maybe 5 hours.
3. Put them both in e-tracs, same conditions (Temp, humidity, shade, etc.)
4. Turn them both on at exactly the same time
5. Run until they both die. ( this is the hard part. Have to monitor, video, or have someone watching them 24 hours)
6. The contest is to guess how much longer the RNB battery ran. E.g. the time difference between when the two e-tracs died.

been almost a month what is the decision ?
I keep seeing Etrac owners comments about not getting silver, so I have to comment. Get a Safari. You don't get as many settings, but enough and you still get the same FBS. I find a lot of silver with mine. The Etrac is an awesome detector, but it's not for everyone. That's why they made the safari. Some of the guys here have been hunting so long, their beards get caught in their detectors. They know how to set up and use the Etrac and differentiate the tones perfectly. If you want to shorten the learning curve, but still have options, get a Safari.
