i ahve been itching since last fall to get the nerve to get permision to hunt this lot in my town . the house burned down over a year ago and it has been for sale for a few months i kept putting it off and when i finaly asked, it had been sold. so back to square one, waiting for the county to update the records as the previous owner was hush hush on who bought this place. so i got home from sea this last week and construcion has already started they have the old foundation out and piles of dirt everywhere so i went and looked up the owners number and she cheerily said yes i could hunt. i went there monday and spent about 15 mins but have been sick in bed recently and i left after a few minutes of finding memorial cent after memorial cent. so today i went back and as i pulled up to the place the owner was unloading a lawn mower. i told her i would mow the lawn as a nice gesture. she was happy she left and came back in 15 minutes and i had the whole lawn done hahahah small lawn. we chatted and i went on to detecting found more memorials a 1941 nickle, 2 wheaties they are soaking now and a '47 roosevelt all this in one swath around the yard not too bad . ill be back tomarrow to finish it
