...Just an observation. The Excellerator DD 8 inch coil has been out for a while now. And I have surfed the various want ad's from a bunch of sites as well as E-bay and have yet to see one of these offered for "resale". It leads me to believe that Kelly-Co has hit a home run with this particular coil.

I'm definitely in the market for the 8 inch DD coil but I just cannot see paying the retail price for it right now. I'd like to hear more feedback from those of you that own one (pro's / con's) before I make that commitment. So let's hear it folks, how do you like the 8 inch Excellerator so far??

I just spoke to a rep at Kellyco and they have no idea when the coils will come in. He said they are stuck at customs and don't know when they will be released.

JW could tell us how many has been sold, but being they have not been out that long I feel most never have had a real chance to try them out and decide if they will keep them.
If you dont want to pay retail, then wait around and put out a few ads on the classifieds as there will be some that have them and will decide to try a different detector and sell the extra coils.

They are fairly new, but Monte and Larry have been using the proto-types for a while. Deathwind was one of the first to have the coil also. I will find out this week when the next shipment will be available.

The 4.5 x 7 DD will be available soon too. As always, if you have a question call me.
