Conquistador white wire broken off

Tippy

New member
Hi Folks,

I have a Tesoro Conquistador with me on holiday. The detector stopped working. Looking into the box, a wire has broken off (see pics) . This wire is connected to the coil....the broken end connected to ??? If anybody can help me locate the point it is to be soldered to I would greatly appreciate it!

Cheers !

I had the same problem with a different detector & used a high power eye loupe & found where the wire broke off from. An alternative to the eye loupe is to download a program called "Yawcam"...http://www.yawcam.com/. This program uses your webcam & monitor to look at a printed circuit board as well as other applications.

From your photo it looks like it pulled out of a connector and was not soldered to the board. Just my opinion, hopefully your able to get some help here.
