Thank you all for your kind words Friends!

Just to clear things up a bit, in 1986 I put my detectors away and only hunted to recover items people called me to find.

For 21 years or so I didn't hunt at all, mostly to keep my one man plumbing repair business alive and to persue other things.

I started water hunting again in late 2007 and haven't missed many opportunities since.

When gold started climbing in price I decided to pick up where I left off in metal detecting and that is the rest of the on going story.

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

Very nice video Joe!! Lew, you have had some wonderful finds also!! I saw one ring that looked like it had bamboo writing on it. I have found 3 of those to date. One of my favorites. I wish you tons more success as well as Joe and Lorraine. A dedicated bunch of detectorists. :clapping:

Many thanks for your kind words SD!!

The main trick to finding the gold seems to be keeping your coil in the water!!
