lost everything. I met a middle aged couple in Walgreen's last week, and they were trying to get their medicines filled. He asked me if we got much rain here. I told him the rain that day was the first we had had in two weeks. He said he had had more water than he ever thought he would see.

He and his wife were from St. Bernard Parish, one of the parishes that was completely wiped out in New Orleans. He told me their story and it was really sad. Seems they just spent their life savings on their "dream home" and had only had it for four years.

So many stories..........many worse, many not as bad, but still devastating!
