Nice story Rick and I am so glad that Chris was able to find her ring after searching for three days! He didn't give up and she got her wedding ring returned and is now a happy lady! I lost my wedding rings in the Black River when it was flooded years ago, my husband, when we were married, was able to retrieve the wedding ring but not the engagement ring! I imagine after the lake waters went down it was probably found because usually that was dry land where they came off while swimming! I was glad to get the wedding band back, so I know how she feels, although mine only cost a couple of hundreds back in 1954 & 55! Ended up with a gold wedding band after losing the wedding band int deep water while swimming in the West Fork of the Black River a few years afterwards! My rings came off easily by being a little too large for my small finders at that time, so never should have went swimming while still wearing them!
