wow i am real glad they chose the real winner of that contest. you could tell the other videos were rigged with extra votes. congrats to the lucky recipient!

Probably one of the worst sets of contest rules ever. It's like no one thought about what would happen with the rules in place, which a 2nd grader could have figured out. They let people vote every day, which skewed the voting even more, another joke.

Absolutely. Doc Tones video was the first pick of the Minelab staff, yet did not finish in the top 10 of fan voting, which is ridiculous. In the end, Minelab did the right thing to correct their own screw up.

Yes congratulations. I knew the fan voting was going to be a disaster when I saw so many postings soliciting votes on so many FB pages. I put in an entry just to show how much fun we have with our machines but I voted for other videos that were better. I made point NOT to vote for those soliciting so hard.

Thanks Guys! I was was blown away! I had given up on trying to get votes and then all of the sudden my phone started blowing up and my FaceBook page started goin crazy! Come to find out I had won! Congrats to everyone and thanks again to all of you for not only voting but for dealing with my constant nagging for votes! Happy hunting!
