I have a new Golden uMax that has done *quite* well on the dry sand (Better than my MXT :-/. I am thinking about a coild that'll do quick work of a large area in less time. A friend of mine a has a Bigfoot on his Silver uMax and seems to use it in even the wet sand without a problem. Are there any major differences/benefits between the Bigfoot and Cleansweep coils? Are there other coils out there in this "genre" that compete?

Thanks for your input in advance!
Hey i saw this browsing and it got me kind of thinking, as iv got a jimmy sierra bigfoot gathering dust, and a spare silver umax in the cupboard can i get them working together or would this a No No partnership???

What is important is the frequency of the md it came from and the pin connector.

If you would post that information someone knowledgeable could make the call.

More info the better!

Hy guy's,

Jimmy Sierra's Bigfoot is designed for use on all White's DFX, MXT, XLT and Prizm models.

DFX operates at 3&15 kHz

MXT at 14.7 kHz

XLT at 6.5 kHz

I don't know what the operating frequency for the Prizm Series is.

Doesn't sound like a match to me:shrug:

on your Tesoro's.

There's more to it than just operating frequency and connector pin configuration. Even with the BigFoot coil there are early versions for the pre-XLT 6.59 kHz type models, then there are those for the 6.59 kHz XLT and XL Pro and Classic III SL and IDX Pro, for example. Still, the coil works differently on the Classic's than it does on the XLT. A BigFoot for the DFX, MXT & M6 series is also a different version, as is a BigFoot coil for the 8.1 kHz Prizm series.

So, NO, the BigFoot and Silver

Thanks for the info everyone.

i will get another cleansweep as i have 2 tesoro's and sell the bigfoot...
