She had been using a magnafying light and a needle - and got fed up
I heard something in the kitchen and she was dropping it on the kitchen floor
after the fourth time she yelled it's opened
But Guess what, natha - zilch - nothing was in side -
It seems to snap together tight
But when you push on the back on top of the eagles wing it pops open
It seems to work well now that she broke it loose.

Sorry Guys
here's some pic.
the back is tapered at one side
so you can pop it open

Cool find. If I am not mistaken, this is what is called a gaff coin. Magicians use them to seemingly make another coin disappear by putting it in the hollow then closing it again. I used to have a couple of them but they had another coin stamped on the inside of the back to give the illusion of two coins in the hand instead of one. They open through the use of a "bang ring" that the coin fits into then is struck on a hard surface allowing the smaller half to drop out. Not positive that's what it is just my two cents.
