:confused:Help requested: Supplier for cam lock knobs?

thedaddy

New member
Anyone know of a supplier that sells the cam lock knobs that fit on the 7/8" tubing for many metal detectors and tightens to lock the 3/4" composite coil rod in place?

I can order them from Bounty Hunter, but they charge $9 each (incl S&H) and that's pretty pricey. I'd imagine there's a source out there that sells these as it's a relatively common application; however, I've been unable to find a supplier.

Thanks,
Steve

Try contacting Plugger on the forum, he makes shafts for most machines and should have a supply or tell you where to get em, he writes in the sovereign and beach forums mostly

Thanks for the pointer, I really appreciate it (haven't gotten much back on this one, and I fear it's because the information isn't there).
Is there a way to PM or email him - I can't find a way on this forum. I'm not trying to cut in on anyone's business and only need them for personal use for a couple of ideas I have for extensible and nesting tubes.

I think that because you have only a few posts the PM service is disabled, i have pm'ed him with this post so he should come on or contact
