Hey I feel like my head is about to explode, I'm trying to decide which model to get my son for Christmas. He's 23 and it will be his first metal detector. I know nothing about metal detectors, so when I compare different models they seem almost alike. Right now I'm stuck between the Quick Draw II, the Quicksilver & the Tracker IV. Right now Kellyco.has the Quick Draw II with an acccessory package for around $170 wiitch I thought was a pretty good price. He picks up on stuff real quick so I know he'll have no trouble figuring out how to use it correctly. He'll be hunting mostly around old home places and he'll probably carry it camping and use it in the campground and in the creek. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
