conductivity or ferrous

I have 2 detectors a Fisher F75 and a E-Trac.

On the the E-Trac I can adjust the sound range to come in either conductivity or ferrous.

So my question is, what is the F75 based on conductivity or ferrous?

Just hoping somebody out there will know.

I don't think either are really the correct answer
I look at it as the electromagnetic signal is altered in different ways by ferrous and non ferrous material and the machines simply report in one direction or the other , say ferrous(Iron) "slows" it down and nonferrous(conductive) "speeds " it up.
 
So I am trying to set my E-trac to run more like my Fisher F75, any idea which I should choose conductivity or ferrous?

Conduct , multi would closest resemble delta.
Delta pitch(full tones) tones is how I always ran the 75 if I remember right.
I think the factory default for iron was 15 or so but with only a one number system it's difficult to compare to the etrac.
Fe number on the etrac seems to be generally accepted as iron at above 26/27 although some patterns start iron at 18.
You could more closely imitate the F75 by running the etrac in 2,3,or 4 tones conductive and mentally rejecting targets with FE numbers greater than 18( or using a disc pattern that blacks those readings out) if you run the F75 in a tones setting other than DP,,,,,,the nulling would correspond to the iron tone you would hear on the F75 at VDIs below 15.
