Condensation on F75 screen

osgood

Member
hey folks , after hunting last week on a moist day, today noticed condensation on the inside of the f75ltd screen- Had it in the cold trunk overnight, could that be contributing? best way to dry it out a little? Will bring it in tonight , leave near, not on, the radiator. Will that help? thanks ahead for input, CO

You might want to send it back for Sealing...

Hey Oz, that happened to my F70 a few years back after hunting in the rain. I was worried at first, but after it dried out, no ill effects at all.
Mud

Leave it inside your house for a few days and it'll be gone. Had it happen more than once.

Condensation will eventually cause corrosion to solder joints. Call Felix. ( If mine ever has that problem )

after a couple days indoors, seemed ok today. Thanks for your input. But now im wondering about the pull switch for GB and pinpointing. Seems its getting sluggish and or loose or something, slow and or stubborn to react. Hope it holds in there till deep winter in which I would send it in. Dont get me wrong, for those of you who know me, I detect probably minimally 3 days a week and often many more. Im sure Ive engaged that switch thousands and thousands of times in the last several years, almost all the camo paint is gone on the upper shaft from contact with my hand. It is a great machine and serves me very well.-especially with its depth and light weight. Hitting an old fair ground tomorrow. Good hunts all, CO
