Concentric Coil For Sovereign

I have and use the Concentric coil along with the Joey coil. I find with the concentric coil, as long as the soil is not to hot, hot rocks are never a problem, pin pointing is a breeze, no wiggle or left to right or right to left swinging of the coil. Target is always dead center and depth is exceptional. This was the only concentric coil made for the Sovereign...Other people may beg to differ, but for me, I am happy with the performance of both of these coils.....

Few years ago got a 8 inch concentric coil, had very high hopes for this coil.Found this coil to be unstable, not very good tones and a bounce with ID meter readings.I sold my coil for a loss.Good Luck Ron

There are some people who like this coil, could be a bad coil or a different brand.Rick tested one he liked and if I remember correct tried another one he didn't like.LOL Most Sovereign(and Excal) hunters have to find out things for their selves,be interested how it works out. Thanks Ron

Yes I tried 2 of the concentric coils of those Kellyco sells as I felt the first one was bad, but the second one was the same way for me, maybe got 2 bad ones doing the same thing. I did do a Field test for another company that had considered making a 8, 10 and 12 inch coil for the Sovereign and these I really did like and they did well for me and had hope they would make them to be sold, but maybe they didn't feel they could sell enough or the cost would be too much and now being the Sovereign being discontinued I don't feel they will ever be made.

Rick
