Concentric Coil Design for a Pi

PiQuest

New member
My Quest at the moment is to home brew a Concentric Coil Design for a Pi detector. A Pi coil is not required to be nulled like theVlf coils. But a Pi Mono with a separate Tx & Rx would allow for a more sensitive receive coil, Rx having lighter wire and more turns. Fig12 in the pic looks a good starting point and also a coil design with the Tx & Rx close together would allow for a open loop coil of any shape. Has any one got info on a pre amp coil circuit that can be used on a Pi. Or a coil circuit to make Concentric Coil Design work best for a Pi.
