Howdy folks,
Played around with this thing for a few hours and got it working although it seems a little slow. Trip up was a good one. Did some detecting on the way and found about 15 dollars clad and one silver band along with a few pieces of junk jewelry.
Been out 3 times up here. First time in the forest preserve I hit last time but only found 1 Wheatie, 1926. The next time hit the old beach on the river. Good day there. 1915 Buffalo, 1950 Wheatie, 1956 Roosie, and last but not least a heavy 14k Italian gold bracelet. Big links and HEAVEY. Don't have a scale but has to be over 2 OZ's of 14K gold. The next time out I hit the playground where I found the nice gold anchor the last time. I got about 3 bux clad and a 14k gold ring. Nice filagree work with a Black Hills Gold rose on the top of the ring. Hard one to clean as it had been jammed into the dirt hard probably by being stepped on. Soaked in Soapy water, Lysol cleaner, Ketchup, and finally Coca Cola. The last doing the best job. Hope the hit the river again this week but it is a little cool. Will probably go anyway. If I have to will put on the wet suit. Could be more goodies over there. Hope all are well and God Bless.

harvesting the goodies ! WTG on the gold - that Black Hills gold is neat to find.
Weather here is becoming perfect now. I went to Douglas yesterday - where you & I stayed in the motel last time. I didn't detect the city at all, just outside it along the rr beds.
We'll have to put a trip together when you get here. Stevew in so az

That is a bunch of goodies Mike! Congrats! Can't wait to see that gold! :)
