something i found the other day at the beach using the infinium ls,after finding what appeared to be a deep target in the sand and digging down i thought use the garrett pro pointer in the hole,to see how much further i had to go.wrong! they might have the same parents,but,they certaintly don't like each other.see ya ,blowfly

I use the two together. Move the coil of the Inifinim 3 feet from the hole your using the pro-pointer in and no problems...
 
Yep!:wiggle:I always use mine together and haven't had any problems.:garrett::detecting:Just don't use 'em too close together simultaneously. Cross talk is very common among detectors that are in close proximity to each other.:biggrin:

Another thing that occurs sometimes is that a hunter up on the beach will have a machine that will cause my LS to act up.

Using Freq.Adjust I tune 'em out and keep hunting!

yeah just move your machine away-my white bulleye2 does the same.As long as infinium coil not facing hole and about 3-4 feet away.
