Buster, I believe that you are thinking about the Relic Magnum 7! At the time of its release it was compared to the Garrett Deepseeker!.....................HH................Joe

I am using a Garrett deep seeker 5.5 on my ADS 7, it seems o.k. but I think I could do better with a bigger coil as it seems to only get about 4" on average.

Rob M, what size coil are you using? If you are using the standard 8 inch coil you should be doing better than an average of 4 inches! I have an Master Hunter 7X with the standard coil I'm getting at least 6 to 7 inches on a dime or nickel! I also use a 10 inch coil and average at least 8 inches or more with that coil! The 12 inch coil averages at least 10 or more inches on these same type coins! Even if you live in an area of much mineralization, you should still do a lot better than just 4 inches! .........................HH......................Joe

Just can't go deep. It is the 8" coil (actual size) and recently had Garrett recalibrate unit. Something is still wrong, ALL METAL MODE does not go as deep as discrimination mode. I will still use it till Dec. 25 when I can open the box to my GTI2500. I will use the ADS as spare.
