Compass xp350

acquired this unit, tried it before and was clueless. got a second chance at it. thanks to some of you guys, i have found a great machine. now the places i tested it are not choice real estate, intown trashy park, but i am impressed. i got a gold plated band:thumbdown:, but a nice token:clapping:, hard times one--ALL QUALITY MINTS --5CENT PACKAGE. and a lot of clad. and few tabs than ever. the unit ran smooth in the iron that was there, i have hunted this place many times. pinpoint was easy--learning a long big iron signal was also easy. depth was exceptional in my book. past the handle guard on a leshe style gator digger on several coins. this place had some of the dirt moved around putting in a sidewalk so late sixties coins can be deep. no silver no gold but a machine that i believe will produce nicer stuff. it did need a little adjust on the front end and i got a measured airtest at eight inches on a nickel. i can live with that. thanks guys hope to post some real finds soon.

I have a Compass Gold Scanner Pro. With it in all metal I get a nickel on an air test over 13 inches. I have never tried an
air test in discriminate, but it would be way less than in all metal. You scored with that one, congratulations.
