Compass Judge 2

silversmith

New member
Hi...I'm new to this forum. I picked up a Judge 2 recently. Pretty thing it is, but although it appears to work somewhat, I found the "auto/manual" switch non-functional. After opening it up I found wires missing on that switch. I'm a electronic tech by trade and would like to get the cool detector running.
Does anyone out there have a schematic or diagram of this unit? Or could someone with one, open his up enough to take a digital photo of the open detector, particularly the switch in question, and E-mail it to me?
Second, I like to find a 4" coil that would work on it.

Thank you very much, any help or ideas appreciated.

Hey, fantastically awesome site....highly recommended. Thank you so much "lovepulltabs" Alas, no Judge 2 schematic though. However I got some bravado up this morning and with a couple of clip leads and lots of good luck, the switch is back on line, no smoke, no flashes of multi-light. So.....happy camper!

Still looking for a 4" loop for this guy. Might be a toughy.

i have a judge 2 for sale if you like it comes with 2 coils and the ALL METAL CARRYING CASE ? sealteem5@yahoo.com

Silversmith, look on ebay for the small loop! Also contact www.brokendetector.com The owner is Keith Wills and he stocks a lot of Vintage Coils. Also he may have the schematic and an instruction manual for this detector!................Also on ebay a lot of people buy non-working detectors in order to get specific coils that they are looking for!! ....................Good Luck...........................HH.................Joe
