compass goldscanner

I've never tried the Tesoro Lobo but do have a Compass GoldScanner pro, Between the two I would feel the Tesoro Lobo would be a bit hotter on smaller size gold nuggets. Not by much but a small advantage.

This is due to the Tesoro Lobo having 17.5 kHz vs. 13.77 kGz on the GoldScanner pro, Both have an edge over the other for particular types of detecting and both due well in harsh mineralization..

However, For relic detecting or for coin shooting then hands down go with the Compass GoldScanner Pro.....Plus, The GoldScanner Pro has an all-metal ID feature (Analog meter) which also enhances the users ability to better analyze false iron signals in both all-metal or disc mode.

If its a Goldscanner its a 3 filter detector; if its a Goldscanner Pro model, [2-filter] its a George Payne design and will be deeper. As to comparing it to the Tesoro, you have to put them side by side.
