Compass goldscanner audio problem question

Eric

New member
I have a goldscanner but it has a 'flaw' since 2 weeks. When I turn it on, you'll not always hear the audio tone. The meter responds very well though .

guess it has something to do with a bad connection

Thinking of selling it, but of course it has to work without any problem.

any tips would be helpfull.

Thanks, Eric.

The compass scanner series has a automatic battery check when you first turn it on,you should see the meter move to the right. There is
no audio for it just the meter when checking the battery strenght. Maybe you had the coil near some metal when you first turned the Detector on that caused it to sound off.
