Compass Coin Scanner Pro II mod,

Old California

New member
Allot going on this week, needed a break so in-between a family emergency and home stayed busy with this recent mod.

Flawless, right down to the last solder fired up and test ran fantastic. Was on my bucket list, now it's completed.

The meter assembly is constructed with a Tesoro analog meter, the ID face plate from a Compass Scanner Series meter and outer meter from an XLT.

Thanks for looking,

Paul

Thanks Vito,

The mod did come together quite well, auctally better than expected.

Went out yesterday, although no Gold surfaced, this machine is going to be a good Gold jewelry detector. Very sensitive, plus the tone's are great!

Thanks again,
Paul

The sheer talent here just amazes me! Great job on your modded machine. Looks great. Very nice work.

Thanks Surfman,

This was one of the mods on my bucket list, have several more hopefully get them completed within the next few months.

It's a matter of making time, digging down deep to kickstart the desire and motivation. That can be challenging at times, but we'll worth the effort when everything comes together.

Thanks again,
Paul

Great Job Paul! Like the Meter casing especially

Thanks Doug,

You've put together several neat mods yourself, always admired your work very talented.

Just finished another meter assembly, this one for my old red Mark I mod, hopefully take her home out tomorrow to an old park, lately been scoring a few deep coins with the Mark III. Looks pretty cool, major improvement over the other meter assembly.

Will post some pics tomorrow, was able to wireup the push pad tabs to activate the Disc & All Metal. Completely revamped the meter assembly, looks cool!

Thanks again Doug!

Thanks Barnett,

Have a few more mods just completed, I'll post them in day or do.

Thanks again
