Barring loss in the mail, I should have my hands on one of these in a week or so. I have seen pictures of it with a round coil and with an elliptical one. Anyone know which came first and whether they are DD or concentric?

Also, Is it likely that the coils for the White's 48 kHz Goldmaster series can be adapted to work on the Compass?

Anyone have any hands-on experience they's like to share?
