Comparison with sidewinder

New member
Hi Guys,
Could someone give me any idea of what detector in the tesoro range would be close to a sidewinder in discrimination.

Regards Below2doe,

friend has one. good solid no nonsense unit. its 12khz. has an expanded ed120 circuit. high gain. its a tr unit to operate mineral free in all metal and disc. you will loose a little in really mineralized soils like salt or black sand, but it can be adjusted. go to Tesoro home site and the manual is available. it also tells you how to adjust the preset threshold and GB if necessary. if my friend dumps his, i have first dibs. i thinks its pretty good myself. i use a silver sabre plus that supposed to be a little more omp but i wonder sometimes. the sabre is 180 i believe i think the adjustments on threshold and gb matter a lot. try the site and read the manuals online. they really help. i dont see much difference in the cutlass or sabre with it. i dont , but thats me. its a light fun unit easy on the wrist and battery fund. hh
