Compadre - tweaking GB. Hole to access pot?

StvS

New member
I'm finding that the Compadre would work a lot better around here if I readjusted the preset GB (I'm finding that I use a fairly consistent GB setting at the parks around here) - I saw on another post where the pot on the Compadre circuit board is located. Given how clear the front panel on the Compadre is, has anyone drilled a hole in the front panel (maybe added a guide tube for the screwdriver shaft) to access the circuit board pot to adjust GB not regularly, but just occassionally, like when I travel? Is it even possible?

Thanks.

Thanks all.

I found it so easy to open the front panel and tweak the trim pot to rebalance GB, and also will only rebalance GB occassionally, that I dont think I'll modify the front panel as I'd originally intended.
