can the compadres tone be changed to something higher rather than the dull fhat,fhat,that it is at the moment,when over a target,which tells you bugger all.blowfly

The tone has been programmed into a chip on the board.
Possible like on the Cibola, you move one or two contacts on the chip will change the tone.
