i was reading specs on the compadre

and it said, it had a sencitivity control on it!!

having only one knob, can someone tell

me where the sencitivity control could be found???

thanks! dirtmanxx:crylol:

The Compadre has an internal sensitivity pot. The dial turns it on and off and adjusts the amount of discrimination. Maybe the Compadre's made for countries other than the U.S. has an external sensitivity control I do not know for sure but I don't think so.

Got pots on the inside, have to take it apart to adjust it though. Must be a misprint. Lol

European models do have have a sesitivity knob which makes it somewhat similar to the Silver.
Still different because the circuitry is not the same, however.

My Compadre has the sense turned up to max internally and I just love it set this way.

I would love to have a Compadre with a 8 inch coil and a sensitivity knob.

I went inside mine and turned up the sens. I also added a plug. I some times have trouble with interference from power lines now, especially with the bigger dd coils. It works good most of the time.
