Compadre Power Balance

DiggerDug

New member
Just wondering if this would be correct to power balance a Compadre. Go inside and increase sens on the V4 until I hear some chatter then adjust V2 until its gone?

Sounds like a question for Monte. I could be wrong but my understanding is that power balancing is a ground balance procedure for detectors without a threshold "buzz".

I think that you bob the coil up & down turning the g.b. pot until you get sound on the uplift (negative ground balance) then just turn the g.b. back to the sound on the uplift goes away. Like I say I could be wrong, this is just my thoughts of what power balancing is. Steve.
