Compadre picks through the iron

I took a few minutes at lunch to run the Compadre around a old drive in the backyard. Loaded with iron scraps in the form of nails and old pipes it's been a drive area for over 100 years. I've previously picked buckets of old nails from newer ones to old square nails from the area. When searching I'll run the Compadre in a tight pattern back and forth with about a two foot swath that overlaps. Digging anything means you run into lots of rock chucks, stones and pieces of old brick. But if you work carefully the Compadre will find the target. I was also checking out a new mount for one of our Sony AS100V cameras we use for client work. The little remote is the watch like looking device off to one side of the shot.

That looked like fun. That penny could have been a silver coin. You just never know until you dig.
