My ground is granitic sand and hosts some black sands I was impressed that the little compadre got this small coin that deep , Not to mention the 6" deep dime , but you can see from the pull tab , that you have no excuse to miss a gold ring with this machine even at 7" deep or better [/size]
 
Super video! Thanks for sharing. Freshly buried coins don't sound off as well as coins that have been in the ground for a long period of time.

Considering that, The Compadre did really well.

Gunnar that is an impressive vid. Like Tabman said, considering they are freshly buried, it is even more impressive.
 
Gunnar thanks for the excellent video. Sure is helping me with understanding the Compadre. For a simple detector it has the potential to really work wonders. It kind of looks like a guy has to dig it all. I am still trying to get the depth down. It is much deeper than I thought it would go. I have been detecting 4" mark and less for some years. Thanks for the honest reviews ....Z
