Compadre headphone question.....

New member
Which headphones are the best for use with the Compadre? I don't think my cheapie phones that I have been using on my other multi tone detectors do the nuances of the single tone justice. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Jeff

The head phones I have been using for the last 30 years is a Fisher brand. I like how they fit. They have a volumn I can turn up good. I wish I could find another set.
I think when I bought them in the 1980s they cost $125.00. back than... I have tried other headphones, but none I have found do not have that loud crisp sound I like... KEN

I like the sharp, crisp sound I get from Grey Ghost Originals or Nugget Busters, regardless of which detector I'm using.

I like my SunRay Gold Pro's. Not just for the Compadre, but all my detectors. Well... I use the wireless that is made for the V3i, but if I didn't, I'd be using my SunRay's.

I use Killer B's Wasps on my Silver uMax. I like the sound of them and I can set each side to my hearing, very nice.

I like the Jolly Rogers I use with all my detectors.

I like the Jolly Rogers real well but like the ones I made my myself a bit better.

Out of the headphones I have tried:

Depth Master, Caldron?, Garrett, I like the 20 buck pair of Garrett's. Most of my hunting is in the woods, with the G I can hear whats going on around me and my ears can breathe. My next pair that I want to try is the wireless TDK's WR700.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Looks like I need to a little more research on the brands mentioned. Thanks again.

Jeff

Treasure Wise headphones work great and are priced very good.
