thats Awsome , say where was you disc set for that ?

Disc is at iron or a hair below , because our clad is all iron/junk metals so i can't run it high or i will miss clad $

I'm super impressed! That's one heck of a nice find.

tabman

Thats a really nice score!

Yeah, when I stab at a signal like a tab or what sounds like a Q or D and cant hit it easily, I slow way down and start thinking "ring" then gently work the probe until I contact what the target is...sometimes I have to lower the sens to tighten up the profile of what is making that ping...Great job! :clapping:
Mud

Yes , if I get a really solid tone and can't find it with probe makes me think gold or silver too .

That ring is damn heavy right?..from the pic, 8gr or more.?...I keep coming back here to look at it! what a beauty!:clapping:
Mud

Sorry Mud , only 6gr

Thanks

And thanks to everyone that encouraged me to did all them tabs , it does pay off

I found it in a park between a tree and a bench . I think it could be from an unlucky toss of the ball for the dog . I se a lot of people with dogs there

Nice find. The compadre is my go to detector wether I have 5 minutes before I have to be to work or an hour or more to hunt. I have found many rings and treasures with my compadre that have paid for the detector many many times over. It did not find me my 1st gold, but it found me my best gold ring to date. This is the pattern with the compadre. 1. Dig 2. Smile. 3. Dig some more. 4. Smile again at what you found. 5. Brag about your machine to the guy wielding the 1000 dollar plus machine in the park who chuckles at the simplicity of your machine and then later sees what it can do and asks you where he can get one, yep you guessed it, smile again and decide if you will tell him or not. You better be prepared to smile until it hurts or until you decide your knees have had enough for one hunt, because it is a huntin fool. Only thing better than having a compadre in your hand would be if you could operate 2 at the same time. I wish you all the best. Just an FYI. It is as silver finding maniac as well. I tripled my silver finds in the first year I bought it. Good luck and happy hunting.
