I was working the side lines of an soccer field. Had disc set on the I on iron. Getting a lot of clad coins. I was starting to get tired after about 3 hours of hunting until I popped open another plug about 3" deep. Target still in the hole. Dug down the sides of my hole to go deeper. Pulled out a hand full of dirt. Waved it over my coil and beep. Started to open up the dirt and there it was,, GOLD. 1977 class ring. 10K.. I think it might be from our local high school. I will have to do some research to see if I can find the owner. This is the fun part when you find a class ring. It is a girls size 5. She must have been very small. If I find the owner I will try to get pictures of the return.. Thanks for looking... KEN

That is a very good looking ring, it will be cool to find the owner and return it. I have found 10 class rings and returned 8, my oldest is a 1935.

Nice find for shure it pays to dig in that range

Good job! Them Compadres seem to be mighty good at sniffing gold.

Good luck on the return efforts. Nice to find class rings and even better when you find an appreciative person who lost the ring to return it to.

Finally Pay Dirt.
WTG. Nice ring. Others will follow.

I have been doing some research on the ring. I thought it might have come from our local school. It has the same initals as our school, but I can not find the name in the 1977 year book. This next week I will go to the school to see if they can help. I always try to return class rings... KEN
