Compadre finds gold..............................

I don't have good headphones for a while:( so I'm going to stick with tot lots until I get some in.

This morning I went to a park in a rough neighborhood. I felt that I had to watch my back. That's distracting. I found a piece of silver and lots of pennies there. After about an hour or so I got tired of watching for thugs so I decided to change sites.

I haven't hunted the Fair Park tot lot sense they had a Razorback football game there a month or so ago. I was hoping that the tot lot got refilled with jewelry. My hopes were not in vain.

I found several pieces jewelry including more silver and an ear ring that I thought was cheep jewelry until I got home. I looked at it with my spy glass and it turned out to be 14k gold.:)There is a blue stone I found by eye sight. Don't know what kind of stone it is. There also is a small red stone in small silver hart that looks like a ruby.

Spent about 3 hours there and here's my loot.

It's been four months and one week sense I started finding jewelry. Now my little box I've been keeping my jewelry finds in has become too small to hold it all.:)

Going to have to find a bigger container.:wiggle:

HH,

Wow! Great job! That Compadre is really earning it's keep. Every post you do makes me feel better about the Compadre I purchased. 50-60mph winds here today with a storm warning loominf for tonight into tomorrow. I will be glad when the weather becomes milder here.

Another fun day, Tabdog!

Maybe you will need a .50cal ammo box to bury in yard before summers over!

HH

We had the wind yesterday. High winds caused wide spread damage to structures. Two people killed by falling trees.

I'm faring well. I haven't found any damage yet.

HH,

Nice finds ! Just got my new Compadre but the ground has been to froze to really try it out. When I do I also hope to find some of those goodies.

your tot lots get filled this time of year and mine up here lay dorment until Spting. Envy...the Compadre is working overtime!

Hay Pap,

There was only one Razorback football game in Little Rock this last season and the tot lot is where there was a tailgate party you would not believe. There were high dollar RV's parked every where. People cooking out with huge cookers. All kinds of food and drink. Party lasted two days.

That's how that tot lot got re-filled.

I was going to hunt it sooner but got distracted with another other site when I found that diamond ring. Kept pounding that site hoping for another good find.

I am lucky to be able to hunt as much as I do. But Winter is slowing me down as far as finds. Come on Spring.

HH,

You and your Compadre partner is killing me - but I like it. Looks the the Compadre is working out well - that's good.
Everything missing but one knob and somehow it still finds the goods - WTG

Or was it down........ Here is an idea for backup if Arky Barky needs a rest - and from your digs, I would need a rest :poke:

I'll submit that to Research & Development.:nerd:

May have to put some rubber boots on the teeth to avoid damage to the goodies.:veryangry:

We will run it through the wringer and see what pops out.

Happy Hunts,

I never sell the Compadre short. It does a fine job being a bare bones detector. It is a pleasure to swing and a nice change from more advanced machines. Happy hunting all!!!

Long Live Tesoro!:tesoro:

I agree from what I'm seeing. - it might not have all the bells and whistles or get the depth of some other machines, so it must be a machine that works and is very affordable, easy to learn, and can swing all day. It's a Tesoro that has it's place.
In some of the places I hunt, depth is not the leading factor needed. Never always was for me - sure it has it's place at times, but not in many areas. Relic in a few areas, then I'll pull out the Tejon for a first choice in most if those cases.
I wish the weather would give me a good break at the right time, I have a few other places that I can't wait to swing the Compadre.

The Compadre has become a MUST HAVE in any hunters arsenal, the posts are the proof of the pudding.:tesoro::detecting:
