Compadre finds another gold ring....

Well, I almost grabbed my Silver umax, but decided to go the trashier route with the Compadre just set above iron reject. As I was digging trash after trash, I got a broken signal and said "trash". Wrong! 10k gold ring with pearl setting in the middle and maybe two diamonds on the side-pretty small and thin.. I don't usually show my trash, but thought others might appreciate seeing it. Oh, I also lowered the disc back to small iron nail reject after the broken signal.

oh we need to see the trash it helps us feel "normal" and others to see its not all icing and sprinkles :detecting::pulltab:

well done on the ring nice job!!

Yes, show the trash. It shows how much work you've done to find that ring.

It also shows you're cleaning up the grounds you hunt.... I had a couple who seemed annoyed that I was digging in a wooded park until I showed them the trash I was removing... They actually thanked me for helping to clean the park and I believe they now see my detecting as a benefit. It helps us by not detecting it again...

Save the trash... Throw it away! ;-)

:canadaflag:Thanks for showing ALL the proceeds of your hunt it helps others to know that your going dig some trash on the way to the good targets. I was out last evening for an hour and half and pulled 21 coins and 6 of those were in a one hole, a 1960's silver coin spill and Oh yes I dug a 1 1/4 lbs of trash. Maybe we need to weight our trash and give weight totals for the year as this is an important part of the hobby that is not quantified like the gold, coins and relics.
How many lbs have you dug?

Great Job! It shows that you don't have to have a fancy machine with lots of bells and whistles to find the good stuff!
