Compadre finds an odd coin for here

Never found one of these before. Where some brush had recently been cleared I got a hard loud hit with the Compadre. Dug up this at around 5 inches right at the edge of the brush line. Got to wonder how it got here to a small town in Florida. We are not a tourist destination for foreign travelers and most of the folks around here never get outside the county.

Nice going! You just never really know what you got until you dig.

thats the fun of it you just do not know , next time it could be a spanish coin from the 1500,s

Not sure exactly why or coins get around, but I am about 200 miles from the exact center of the country here in Kansas and the amount of foreign coins I find here is amazing.
Here is a pic that I took of coins that I found in my first year hunting here.
Since this picture was taken I have added many more coins to this collection and that list has grown to include about 5 more and different countries.
