Common program

I understand that one of the functions of the "common" program is that you may load things in there that you wish to be incorporated into several of your programs without having to do each one separately, like volume settings and maybe vco or tone id. But could someone talk this feeble-minded senior through the step-by-step process on just how it's done? I mean, suppose I set my volumes in common then wanted to import them into my version of the coin & jewelry, coin, and deep silver programs. How do I go about it? Thanks.

It's easy. I'll set the live controls the same for your programs.
Select the common program.
Choose what options you want on your live controls and put them in the order you want.
Save the common program.

Now pick a program lets say C/J.
go to expert menu - programs - setup - excludes - configuration - live controls.
put an X in the live control box and exit.
C/J now has the same live controls as common.

In practice you can set all the things you want in common at one time.
