BINGO!
Or should I say Eureka?

Yes. I just traded my M6 outfit for a X-Terra 70. He got 3 additional coils and I'm only getting 1. But that's all good because I found that the M6 was just a little too limited for me. After all I do live north of Sacramento and I do get the urge to try some gold prospecting along the American River. Don't get me wrong. The M6 is a great detector. I'm gonna miss her and on our last hunt together she done well. If I were a rich man I'd have kept her and bought a new x-terra 70. But I'm not. Local Minelab dealer said he'd take the M6 along with all the coils on a trade for a X70 but I'd still need to come up with 200 bucks.
As I was looking through the offers for my M6 trade post ( see the classified forum. ) I had a lot of choices. Fishers, tesero's, whites and even a couple of minelabs. But I kept waiting for a x-terra 70 to appear because of the great reviews. Finally on the third day Elton came through.
This will be my 4th Minelab. First was a Colt and then the Advantage. Both traded for different Brands. Then I tried the GT and I really was impressed with the performance but lacking fingers on my elbow I found it quite awkward to use.
Traded that for the M6 and well, here I am again. WooHoo! Can't wait!:clapping::bouncy::clap:

Good choice. Welcome back to the dark side, it looks like you've seen the light ! Your really going to love the 70. The more you use it, the more you love it. The 6" DD coil should be great for checking the cracks in the bedrock on the rivers, I'm betting you'll have a nice little pile of the Gold stuff in no time at all.

Enjoy !!!!!

Good hunting, John K
