Coming back to a AT-Gold!

After trying a ton of other machines and not being happy with their performance I've got a AT-Gold coming to me. I love the way they perform in the iron infested sites I hunt. And you can't beat Garretts great customer service.

Welcome back! Looking forward to seeing some of your finds. You aren't the first person to switch back to Garrett after trying other equipment.

Thanks for the welcome back John. It's nice to have a mod on this forum that knows a lot about the AT series detectors and that shares his knowledge like you do. I'm sure all the other guys on here appreciate you to!

Don't forget the Ground Balance Window works good on uneven ground/sand. Some places have sand under the lawn and when it gets wet it can make a lot of chatter. The GBW can help smooth things out. The Garrett website training videos for the AT GOLD have some info on the GBW that is not in the instruction manual. Take a look.

I'll check that out Mike! Thanks for sharing that info.

I don't remember, but I think they added some stuff to the instruction video since I first viewed it.

Welcome back I too love the sounds of the AT machines they do good for me too
